Description

This is a 2-day course that gives the participant a much more comprehensive understanding of the Agile Framework, with a heavy focus on the Scrum Process, the Roles in Scrum, how to write good User Stories, and how to combat impediments to the Agile Process.

Prerequisites

While it is not a prerequisite, taking A Basic Introduction To The Agile Framework will help greatly.

Measurable Objectives

The participant will leave the class with a robust understanding of the Agile Framework, the Scrum Roles and Process, and how to write User Stories. They will be building on the foundational work from A Basic Introduction To The Agile Framework and taking that knowledge to the next level. Students will come away with a strong grasp on how to properly do Agile Planning. This class will focus heavily on the Scrum Framework, and will teach the students about the new roles inside of Scrum (Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Scrum Team), as well as how they interact with each other and the rest of the organization. Participants will go through a highly detailed End-To-End walk-through of the Scrum Framework and will leave with a solid understanding of not just the new roles, but also the new Agile Terms that are used in the day-to-day operations of a Scrum Team. This is a good class for anyone on or associated with a Scrum Team.
