Please describe your current proficiency with Microsoft Excel; then, in the following fields indicated which features in Excel you are familiar with.
Excel Level I Foundations: This course covers navigation and the Ribbon, entering data, selecting ranges creating simple, formulas and using simple functions, changing the appearance of worksheets using the Ribbon and the Format Cells Dialogue Box, and use comments to describe cells.
Excel Level II Intermediate: This course is the second in the Excel series and is designed to help users display data in graphs and chart, use Headers and Footers and change the format/orientation/alignment on the page for printing, create and format tables with calculations, use Auto and Advanced Filters such as VLOOKUP, AVG, MAX, MIN and find records in a worksheet. The course includes creating PivotTables with calculated fields, using What-If tables, Scenarios and Problem-Solving.
Excel Level III Advanced: Users will learn to validate data, work with Validation Lists to protect data (including protecting files and cells with passwords and creating read-only files). You will begin to explore working with multiple worksheets to create a workbook which allows you to enter data across a group of worksheets and move and copy data from one sheet to another. Advanced topics include linking and consolidating data and updating workbooks, creating workbook templates, using Numeric and Logical Functions, and creating basic Macros.
Excel Functions, Formulas & Pivot Tables: Take this course if you want to learn useful tools, tricks and tips for utilizing functions and formulas available in Microsoft® Excel 2016. Learn which are best suited from over 300 available built-in functions. If you need to analyze large amounts of data quickly and easily, this class covers PivotTables – Excel’s best resource for doing so.
Extreme Excel: Functions and Features for the Power User – This course covers Identification of Excel data lists, simple sorting of data, complex data sorting, filtering data, subtotaling data, converting data lists into data tables, creating PivotTables, reorganizing data pivots, filtering and slicing data, developing Pivot Charts, creating PowerPivot calculations, reports, and distributing PowerPivot data.
Excel Data Tables & PivotTables Featuring PowerPivot – This course is designed for individuals with a high level of aptitude in using Excel functions and formulas. The function categories range from Math and Trig, Date and Time, Text, Lookup and Reference, Statistical, Financial, Logical, and Information. Power users will create several business profitability formulas and will also be presented with data analysis tools for management decision making.
Excel VBA Level I: This course covers recording and executing macros; viewing procedure code; nesting macros; fundamentals of VB language; variable and constant declaration; variable scope and lifetime; DO UNTIL looping; conditional branching commands; error trapping routines.
Excel VBA Level II: This course covers variables and constants; array variables; looping commands; conditional branching; user-defined functions; Immediate window; custom dialog forms; Active X controls; error handling; break mode; debugging tools; Locals window; Watch window.
