This Excel Basics class will acquaint the user with a foundational overview of Excel functionality. The core emphasis will focus on formula creation where cell addresses are featured for effective formula copying. The topics of relative vs. absolute referencing is discussed and demonstrated as well as exposure to general formula functions, such as SUM, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, and COUNT. The user will also be shown various Date functions such as TODAY, NOW, MONTH, YEAR, DAY, and WEEKDAY.

Objective: Upon completion of this course the novice Excel user will be able to successfully navigate workbook files along with complete spreadsheets by using a variety of formulas featuring basic computation as well as utilizing Excel Functions.
