Course Objective: Review key elements of Leadership; identify most popular leadership styles for motivating others and their common elements.
Overview: Leadership is inspiring others to embrace and achieve your vision of the future. There are three implicit elements in this definition. You must be able to define your vision, communicate that vision and inspire others to achieve that vision.
Highlights: Review the key elements of a Vision Statement and practice developing a short, concise but effective Vision Statement. Review the communication model and practice using that model to communicate your vision. Review the most popular leadership styles for motivating your work force and discover how they all have common elements. Use the common elements of these leadership styles in a case study developed for this class.
