Social Marketing: An Executive Overview
This Social Media Marketing Overview begins our Boot Camp with a non-technical walk through of the different components of Social Marketing. If you are new to Social Marketing or just looking to explore what this Web 2.0 strategy is all about, this information will benefit you. This is not a “how to do it” rather a “why you should do it” executive overview.

LinkedIn or Locked Out?
LinkedIn should be a key element of any Social Media Marketing strategy. Whether you are new to LinkedIn or a Connection guru, you’ll walk away with a detailed understanding of how to use LinkedIn to benefit your company. We’ll cover how to setup and finish your personal profile, growing your network connections, asking for and responding to recommendations, setting up your company’s group profile, finding and participating in other groups and general LinkedIn techniques to embrace and avoid.

Facebook Fundamentals for Business
If you think Facebook is only for high school, college and personal endeavors, you need to listen to our detailed tour of Facebook and explore how you can use it in business. Should your company have a Facebook page? Who should be your target fans? How can you most effectively grow your fan base? When you join us we will explore these questions and more as we take a detailed tour of the fastest growing social media platform on the planet.

Blogging & Twitter Tips & Techniques
Running a business blog and participating on other blogs is a popular element of an effective Social Network Marketing strategy. We’ll take an in depth view of the common blog platforms, how to get a blog started, options for integration into your web site, resource time requirements, what you should blog about, results you should expect, and discuss overall blogging and twitter etiquette.

YouTube, Social Bookmarks & Content Sharing
Internet platforms like YouTube, del.icio.us, digg and StumbleUpon have enabled effortless sharing of video and content. Using these platforms can provide an overall lift to all your other interactive marketing efforts. This will help you understand these content & social sharing web sites and learn which ones to use in your business.

Creating your Strategy & Measuring Success in Social Marketing
This wraps-up our Social Marketing seminar and brings it all together with an in depth discussion on Social Marketing strategies and how to measure your success in SMM. Find out what key performance indicators you should be watching. Learn how to “listen” for your brand on the internet. This final segment of the workshop will show you how to take what you’ve learned and weave it into your interactive marketing strategy for fabulous results.
