Engaged employees are involved in, enthusiastic about, and committed to their work.  Research shows that this connection is strongly connected to positive business outcomes such as financial success, productivity, profitability, and customer engagement.  Yet, a recent Gallup poll shows that the percentage of U.S. workers in 2015 who were engaged in their jobs averaged 32%!  More surprisingly, the majority (50.8%) of employees were “not engaged,” while another 17.2% were “actively disengaged.”

This interactive course will provide proven strategies for creating a culture of engagement that supports the innovation, growth and revenue that your company needs.

Objectives

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Identify the importance of employee engagement in creating and fostering a productive workforce
  • List the benefits of improving employee engagement
  • Apply a model of employee engagement to your own agency’s workforce
  • Integrate employee engagement strategies into Human Capital activities such as hiring, leadership development, organizational culture, remote work, job design, inclusivity, and engagement measurement
  • Describe the steps and used to increase employment engagement
  • Access employee engagement resources and tools
