Workshop Summary

Accounting is the language of business.  Non-financial managers may feel they don’t understand what’s going on around them if they don’t speak the language.  It may be difficult for these people to achieve their goals if they cannot express those goals in a comprehensible manner.

At the completion of this workshop, participants will understand the basics of accounting and how their daily activities feed into the enterprise’s financial statements. They will also understand those financial statements.  In addition, they will learn how budgeting and financial controls help the organization achieve its objectives.  Most importantly, the participants will understand the language of business.
